A Trip to Paris

So at the end of May we decided to take a trip up to Paris to see some very good friends who recently moved there.  Their little girl happens to be Savannah’s best friend and this was also the first time for Savannah to visit Paris.  We enjoyed hanging out with them.  We did everything from taking tours around the city, traveling on the metro, drinks at Starbucks, going to the movies, playing at parks, and even having Mother’s Day at the Hard Rock Cafe.  Beautiful city, beautiful time.

Summertime

We have entered Summertime here in Provence.  The fields are in full bloom.  The red poppy flowers are amazing as always.  The weather has been mild leading into Summer.  Here it is the first week of June and we are barely touching the upper 70’s for temperatures.  We have been busy these past several weeks with lots of fun stuff.  Recently, Sabrina and Savannah took a small trip with her parents to the southwest part of France near Spain.  They even spent a little time in the small village of Girona in Spain.  We also took a long weekend and visited Paris.  For Savannah, it was her first visit to see the beautiful City of Lights.

    We have continued with our preparations for the coming baby girl.  Sabrina is due before the end of this month (June);  so the time is close!  And to top it all off we have been looking for a new place to live as we will quickly out-grow our current 2 bedroom apartment here in Aix. 

    Summer is upon us and we are looking forward to the beach trips, the warm dry sun of the Mediterranean, the lavender fields, the vineyards full of grapes, the cigales, not getting dark until past 10:00pm, bicycling, and the Tour de France in July!!

You Have To Come Visit Aix en Provence
